It may sound like a contradiction to the above heading, but as from the middle of June we will have had another part time member of staff working in the office.
   "Doesn't that cost us more money?" I hear you ask! It will of course, add to the wages bill but will cut down on the cost to the individual directors and committee members who give up their working time for the Credit Union. All our volunteers take their work seriously and will continue to do so, but, if the membership is to grow and there is a need to have the office open for longer hours, this can only be done with the help of paid staff. I am sure that we will all notice the improvement to the service we offer members over the coming months.
   "Is there something I could do to help to keep costs down," you may ask?
   One area, in which you, the member, can help to keep our costs down is to reply to our letters the 

first time! That may seem to be a simple enough request but alas, a number of you choose not to and subsequent letters just add to the cost of running the Credit Union!
   If you are going away this month have a nice holiday, but have you made provisions to pay your loan repayments? And, of course, don't forget to cancel the milk!
