for their closure, it's purely to remind Call
Sign readers of the link between the two
organisations. Ok, perhaps it is the most tenu-
ous of links, but to our late founder-Chairman
Bonnie Martyn, it was important enough for
him to keep the issue of the Sunday paper
dated 29 March 1953 before eventually pass-
ing it along to Alan Fisher for safe-keeping at

Sunday March 29 1953 was a hugely impor-
