way to successfully completing their period of training and if all goes to plan, the opening times at Roman Way will then be extended into the evening in the near future. At present the fitting bay opens at 7am and closes at 5pm.
   I mentioned in last month’s article that the latest upgrade not only includes the date, but also has the ‘fixes’ for the blank screen and loss of details problem. Again to prevent any undue waiting, it would be so much more convenient if you actually contacted the fitting bay to book an appointment. At certain times of the day there is usually a queue of drivers waiting (especially late afternoon) and a booked time would often prevent any long delays. Obviously there will always be emergencies and ourstaff will always endeavour to do

their best, but in some instances a little patience would be much appreciated. Over the next few months, I would hope that the Roman Way improvements currently in the pipeline will start to have an impact for everyone. The software programming that will allow us to implement the necessary changes at Cabot Square (E14C) are soon to be finalised. Once they have been successfully tested you will all be notified of the new procedures.
   This time of year is generally fairly quiet on the Marshalling front, although there were a number of events in March and April that were all very successful. With summer fast approaching, I am sure the bookings will start to come in.
