As a
sponsor of the Variety Club of Great Britain
through golf tournaments, Dial-a-Cab have currently
raised enough funds to date for the purchase of
three Sunshine Coaches, all of which have been
presented to schools for handicapped children. On the evening of 28 February, DaC were invited to a special event at London’s Savoy Hotel organised by the Variety Club - a tribute to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. The 500 guests included DaC Chairman Brian Rice, Call Centre Manager Keith Cain and Marketing Manager Allen Togwell. None of the Arsenal team were present as they were preparing for a FA Cup replay in Sheffield. in the wonderful donations and |

high bids made for items in
the auction. The end result was that a large amount
of money was raised for children in need. Towards the end of a very good evening, Arsenal supporter Allen Togwell attempted to get a photo with Arsene Wenger for Call Sign. Sadly he gave the task to Keith |
Cain, whose photography skills were – according to Mr T –
"limited to aiming the camera anywhere but at the
intended target, the result of which was a photo of
my right foot!" Fortunately, DaC account client, Sir David Frost stepped in! Sir David told Allen that he was a big supporter of DaC and was delighted to pose with him… |
