The annual Business Travel Show at Olympia has become a major showcase for those in every aspect of the travel industry – including transportation - and as in previous years, DaC were there. The central point of this year’s Dial-a-Cab stand was a magnificent 1938 vintage Austin taxi complete with its police plate! Our presence attracted a great deal of attention from the public and many new leads were generated by our sales team led by DaC Sales Manager, Lydia Foulkes. While the vintage cab played its part in starting conversations about "the good old days," it allowed Lydia and the team – which included various Board members over the three days of the show – to demonstrate our 21^st century technology that is second to no one anywhere in the world! And that is some claim… Our company profile definitely goes up several notches after appearing at the BTS and 21 accounts were opened as a direct result of our attendance. Perhaps	not quite so relevant to that attendance - although none the less interesting to Call Sign - was the chauffeur who wanted the Austin Taxi for his company, while a gentleman from Pinewood studios looked at the vehicle moist-eyed and reminisced about his days working on Carry On Cabby!
