We are now into February and approaching the AGM. As is
normal, the work will seem a little quiet compared to the hectic Christmas
period, but the Virgin (WCT) work will certainly help us all throughout the
coming year. The contract for 2004 has now been extended and signed and the
work from that account will vary from week to week. Numbers required may
change and times could be altered to fit in with the directives that Virgin
Management require and naturally, we must all be flexible. As this is a new
year, the Board have decided to start the booking-in and selection process
from the beginning again. This means that every member can once again
book into the WCWC rank at the designated times, provided that they
have not previously worked on this account (00750) from the beginning of
this years contract (3 January 2004). Please follow the
correct procedure and allow all drivers to again have the opportunity
to work at one of the designated stations. With lots of work expected, I am
certain that every member will get their chance on more than one occasion
very soon, but the allocation guidelines must be strictly adhered to.
