| Dial-a-Cab, in
the form of Mike Son and DaC Palace’ Account Manager Claire
Ottley, were recently summoned to Buckingham Palace where concerns
were put to them over the security aspect of their Taxi account. They
wanted to know how DaC could ensure that the only people to use the
account were those who were actually authorised to do so. Mike had
previously in a phone call, pointed out that Dial-a-Cab possessed the
most up-to-date technology in the |
taxi
world and explained about our on-line booking and DaCport facilities. It
had only been during the latter half of last year that Buck House
actually went on-line; so all this was still fairly new to them. They
invited Mike and Claire down to give a demonstration and the Palace
staff admitted to being very impressed - so much so that they are
planning a future trip to Brunswick House for a guided tour.

driver Mike Norton (M19) and following the technology
demonstration, set the Palace up with all of our latest gadgetry.
DaCport now allows them to keep tabs on all aspects of trips made on
this account.
Mike Son told Call Sign that BP also appreciated meeting and
putting a face to the DaC Account Manager they deal with. Claire was
impressed with the security aspect of the Palace.
