MARSHAL ALLAN’S UPDATE

From early September, enquiries relating to our Marshalled Events
Service over the Christmas period have started to come in and we shall
once again be working on behalf of many of our corporate clients, in
addition to regular work again being promised throughout December at
Battersea Park. So it is already looking very encouraging and we have
every reason to feel optimistic.
Work from Goldman Sachs in Shoe
Lane over the past few weeks has been steadily increasing and more
taxis will be ordered on this account over the coming period. Please
also remember that this is a joint account and you have equal right to
each and any ChargeCard journeys from the rank.
Please support the
Marshals who are on site to assist every Dial-a-Cab member each
weekday (21.00hrs until Midnight).
You should also by now be
aware that Clifford Chance have moved to new headquarters at Upper
Bank St, Canary Wharf, which will increase work allocated via E14C.
Finally, can I remind you that if
you have any operational or procedural problems using your data
terminal, please contact either Shelagh Adkins or myself and we will
be only too pleased to help and assist you either on a one-to-one or
group basis.

DAC PRESENT ANOTHER SUNSHINE COACH!
And Make a Live Appearance on Channel 4
|

Brian Rice is interviewed live on CH4 by Jeremy Beadle
(Far Left).

With our third Sunshine Coach.
In early September, DaC were at Sandown Park racecourse to present
their third Sunshine Coach to the Variety Club of Great Britain and our
second in three months!
During the afternoon’s racing, Jeremy Beadle interviewed Brian Rice
live on Channel 4 about DaC’s involvement with the Variety Club and shy to
the last, our Chairman managed to sprinkle the words "Dial-a-Cab"
into the conversation only 6 times!
Afterwards, Brian told Call Sign:
"DaC were delighted to present our third Sunshine Coach on behalf of
our members to help children who may be less fortunate than our own."
This Sunshine Coach was presented to the Delves School in Derby.
