DaC were invited to
the recent RADAR awards for disabled people who have overcome tremendous
obstacles yet come through successfully. Lydia Foulkes reports for Call
Sign Dial-a-Cab, as always, were in fine fettle on a recent Tuesday evening. To be honest it was the first time this year that I really started to feel festive. We attended the RADAR People of the Year Awards evening and what a great night it was. RADAR always organise fabulous events where a great deal of money is always raised towards some excellent causes. On arrival, we mingled with many old and new faces from within the taxi trade from whom we enjoyed a great many compliments, not just on the way DaC do business, but also on how dapper we all looked! could make anyone feel very sorry
for themselves, yet their spirit remains undiminished. I have recently had

These individuals and organisations exist to help provide a better quality of life and normal - so far as possible - existence, something that we so easily to take for granted. After dinner and the auction had ended, it would have been rude not to strut our funky Dial-a-Cab stuff and dancing into the early hours certainly put us all in the party spirit. We certainly seemed to leave other members of the trade on the sidelines, but that is just par for the course I guess... I hope you all have a peaceful (but fun) Yuletide and a very Happy New Year...
