£300 LOGO WIN FOR GARY
The September winner of Dial-a-Cab's logo draw was Gary
Sampson (P11). Gary joined DaC in 1990 following his first eight years as a
cab driver without a radio.
"I tried ComCab for three months almost twenty years ago,
but I just couldn't get on with it and left. Having now been on DaC for
twelve years, I wouldn't like to go back to just working the streets,"
said Gary.
Gary is married to Christine and they have two teenaged
boys in Michael and Daniel. He likes the occasional game of golf, but having
once been a real devotee of the sport, has gone off it a bit and taken up
running instead.
So what is Gary going to do with his newly acquired £300?
"It was our 20th anniversary on September 20 and we
always intended to go to Rome for a break. This money will certainly
help!"
And finally, Gary's views on the DaC logo?
"I have them on because I believe they help to create
an image which separates us from the rest. We are identified and I believe,
respected. Our logo is part of that image..."
