Call Centre Member Gets Married (OK, OK - SO IT'S THE EDITOR'S SON!) The month of January in 2001 was one of the wettest for
years, so it didn't bode well for Editor's son Reed Fisher and his lovely
fiancée Lara Gladstone's wedding day. |

newspapers and specialist publications such as 'Red Hot Penny Shares'
for their collective benefit. The info is then carefully verified to ensure
its reliability before the drivers decide whether to act. As Martin Hizer
(M47), the Press Officer for the consortium suggested: "Some city
whizzkids would like to send us off in the wrong direction!" He
explained that each driver contributes £40 per month into a central fund
and inputs tips and advice to the group as a whole. "We're very
democratic and dealings are conducted with the common good in mind," he
explained to Call Sign. The circle of drivers has been going for about a year, with DaC strongly represented, although |
Martin is quick to point out that all the major radio circuits are
represented. Martin also said that 3 'decision makers' had been voted in who
have the discretion to act on the groups' behalf if share prices rise or
fall by 20% or a situation arises that requires speedy decisions.
"Otherwise" he told us, "we meet bi-monthly to discuss major
purchases. We've little money in the bank, due to our acquisitions, but our
portfolio is strong and growing." Simply Money may well have been shown by the time this issue comes out, but with the groups growing reputation and now second TV appearance in the bag, Call Sign suspects that we'll be hearing much more in the future... |
