FIXED PRICES AND OTHER BITS! AN UPDATE...
By Mike Son

I am pleased to say that all the fixed prices that are not contracted i.e. Euston, have now been increased. Included within the update is an anticipated DETR general fare increase for this year Customers are being notified of these changes.
I therefore see no reason for any further increase during this year. In the future, all new fixed prices will carry the updated yearly % increase.

Costumed Capers at the Tower of London

Weekends during February and March and Half Term Holidays (19 -27 February)

Every weekend during February and March, the Tower of London will play host to a whole spectrum of colourful characters bringing the fascinating history of this royal palace to life. Tales of the conquering Normans and the terrible Tudors will be interspersed with a whole week of tours and talks on Anne Boleyn (19 -27 February) to celebrate half-term.
Presentations by authentically costumed guides will take place five times a day throughout the weekends beginning on Saturday 5 February with a laundress and a master mason from the court of Edward I discussing the hard life endured by servants and the king's ambitious building programme. Events continue until Sunday 26 March with a foray into Post

restoration London and Charles II coronation celebrations, along with a look at the beginnings, in Victorian times, of the Tower as a visitor attraction.
In addition to these weekend activities, during the half term holidays (19 to 27 February), visitors can find out the inside track on the life of Henry VIII's most famous wife, Anne Boleyn and eavesdrop as courtiers gossip about the royal intrigue behind her fall from grace, trial and execution. Daily presentations will allow visitors to delve beneath the veneer of the Tudor court and discover the truth about the life of one of England's most fascinating queens.
Both adults and kids will enjoy these examples of living history. And of course, there is much, much more that you can see at the Tower....
Tickets can be bought at the

Tower of London or at any of London's 250 tube stations. Admission is £11.00 for adults, £7.30 for children and a family ticket costs £33.00.
