Well we're still here the world didn't end on January 1st 2000, so was it all a big hoax by the IT industry world-wide? Personally I feel it was the successful forward planning of the IT, Telecomms and Networking industries that gave the illusion that it was all a hoax - in fact they were in a no-win solution.
For instance, if it had been a total catastrophe the media (if it was around), would've seized upon it blaming them for no forward planning, well it was quite the opposite! Nothing happened, not a peep. So, the media claim it was the IT industry making jobs for the boys, pah! The Y2K non-event was clear testimony that the industry got it's act together and resolved any potential problems, even my web sites withstood the Y2K bug. A big Y2K pat on the back for the IT industry!

Dial-a-Cab - The Internet Leaders!
Have you noticed the increasing amount of Internet commercials? And commercials comparing the Internet to Radio stating how it will revolutionise everything we do? Have you noticed that entrepreneur, Richard Branson, is selling off large parts of his Virgin Airline to concentrate on the Internet and the biggest merger in history recently consisted of America-Online (AOL) and Time-Warner?
A little while ago, the Stock Markets were saying that Internet shares were rated too high and that it was a flash in the pan, I don't think so! The Internet is going from strength to strength and those that don't embrace it will fall aside.
One that won't fall is Dial-a-Cab. They had the vision and balls to realise the potential of the Internet and they now lead in their field. I think that in this instance, they deserve a pat on the back.

For the last six months I've been on a get fit fad and have been down the gym running, but I kept suffering from a recurring calf strain injury.
