Bill Tyzack and Harry Joel certainly help raise the good image of the cab trade in the eyes of the public. Both have been rightly honoured by the Queen for the charity	work they do for the taxi trade. Congratulations to you Bill and well done to the both of you from everyone in the ODRTS. You are something to be proud of.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL OF YOU

The dockets used in the control room are being modified in an effort to overcome some of the problems encountered with the manual input into the computer. Would you therefore please help us with the following?

Show separately at all times any charges you have incurred while on a credit job, i.e. carriage, food, cigarettes, papers, parking etc.
You must state your driver status clearly: owner, journeyman or second journeyman.
Include any executive, station or theatre charges in the meter fare.
Please do not hoard your credits, if you give them into the office in large batches it makes our job this end all the more difficult.
Try and clear your credits at the beginning of each week. If you clear you dockets on a Thursday, this overloads the work our punch operators have to do.

We are learning from our mistakes, but with your kind help, we can and will get our operations running smoothly.
