Dial-a-Cab has teamed up with leading fortnightly newspaper The American, to offer drivers a host of superb prizes. All you have to do is pick up your copies of The American, hand them to your passengers and wait to win!
The American newspaper is published fortnightly and read by US citizens working or visiting London on business or for a holiday. It keeps Americans up to date with what is going on back home and how to enjoy London at its best. It includes features on the British way of life and how to get the most out of being here.
HOW TO WIN
There are lots of ways to win:1
. Daily prizesEvery day from July 1st until October 1st Dial-a-Cab drivers will be stopped randomly at different times of the day. The first driver to show they are carrying copies of The American and answer a simple question, will receive a prize eg. a pair of tickets to a London show - on the spot.
2. Fortnightly prizes
Everyone who receives a daily prize will be entered into a draw - one for each issue of The American. The first person picked from the draw will receive a weekend break for two. Second and third prizes will also be awarded.
3. Three month prize
At the end of three months, one final name will be picked from everyone who received a daily prize. This lucky person will receive a 10 day holiday to the United States.
It's as simple as that!

TO START
The first issue of The American will be at the pick-up points from 7am on Wednesday, July
1st until 6pm on Sunday, July 12th (subject to availability).
This will be the bumper issue that covers the All-American Independence Day
celebrations - so close to every American's heart.
The first fortnightly draw will take place on Monday, July13th.
The second issue of The American will be available at the pick-up points from
Monday, July 13th at 7am until 6pm on Sunday, August 2nd.
The second fortnightly draw will take place on Monday 3rd August.
THREE MONTHS TO WIN
The partnership with The American will last throughout July, August and September and with
over 100 prizes to win, this gives everyone a superb chance of winning.
SPECIAL ISSUE
Each of the special copies of The American will be printed "With the compliments of
Dial-a-Cab". Each copy will also carry stories about Dial-a-Cab and the London taxi
trade.
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO
* Make sure you collect your copies of The American from the pick-up points.
* Hand out the copies to your passengers - especially Americans. For example, employees of American Dial-a-Cab customers like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and Boston Consulting.
* Show a copy of The American when you are stopped and answer a simple question. You will be on your way to winning.
