from the chairman |
You will read elsewhere in the magazine that there is not be a Call Sign in March,
this is due to the Editor, Alan Fisher taking a holiday ( does he deserve one?). Alan has
now produced eight editions and I am extremely happy with the magazine. The Editor is
always looking for new ideas as to the content and the response from you, the member, has
been very encouraging to both Alan and myself. As you can see from previous editions, the
Editor has sole discretion as to the letters that are included and there is no
interference from the BOM whatsoever. I am very proud of the fact that I believe Dial a
Cab now produces the best magazine within the licensed trade in London. NEW LOGO |
of the time. We have done our market research concerning the Logos and the feedback has been very encouraging. All I ask is that you let the new format grow on you before making your minds up. We will obviously inform you at a later date how and where we intend to fit the new Logo and it would be very nice if every one of our vehicles sported the same Logo instead of the present situation where there are several different types in circulation. NEW TERMINALS |
can see the scope and application that there is in this new product. All that remains is for us to negotiate a deal that we can afford to repay over the coming years without putting this company in jeopardy, or in a similar position that it faced some years ago. Our need for new equipment is paramount. Although things might be fairly quiet on the streets, our job figures some days are equal to those that we had in October and November and should the weather deteriorate then the figures will go through the roof.
