DaC’s procedural rules in print. So here they are… DIAL-A-CAB PROCEDURAL RULES |
1. Rudeness
abuse or violence, threatened or actual, towards clients,
other members or staff of ODRTS. 2. Conducting him or herself in a manner likely to bring the Society into disrepute. 3. Conduct liable to prejudice the Society. 4. Arriving at the pickup point with more money than authorised showing on the meter. 5. Conduct liable to disrupt the smooth running of the Call Centre. 6. Taking a job not allocated or pulling off a job without the consent of the Call Centre. 7. Making a journey which is the property of the Society, his/her own. 8. Clearing more than the correct fare or inputting more than showing on the meter at final destination. 9. Misuse or non-accidental damage to ODRTS equipment. 10. Unauthorised installation of equipment or tampering with authorised ODRTS equipment. 11. Exchanging a journey without prior authorisation or picking up the wrong passenger. 12. Failing to complete a journey as directed by the Call Centre. 13. Using a badge number other than their own or allowing another to use their badge number. 14. Booking into a zone contrary to Society procedure, thereby gaining an unfair advantage. 15. Not having his/her taxi meter in the correct mode whilst booked into a data zone or whilst on a data despatched trip. 16. Failing to complete or trying to have recovered an ‘as directed’ data despatched trip after accepting such. 17. Trying to reject a non-rejectable trip or letting it ‘time out’ to gain an unfair advantage. 18. Failing to accept a Company Charge Card or Westminster/Borough TaxiCard trip without good reason. 19. Failing to keep his/her taxi in a good mechanical, clean and presentable condition. 20. Not completing the minimum amount of credit journeys set by ODRTS to accommodate the work level. 21. Not producing his/her proprietor’s licence within the time limit set by ODRTS. 22. Not displaying the company logo after signing to agree having them affixed to their taxi. 23. Failing to use the delay advised facility when anticipating being late for a pickup. 24. Failing to carry the required equipment to complete a journey allocated by the Society. 25. By conduct or actions liable to disrupt the smooth running of any department of ODRTS. 26. Not transporting the passenger by the shortest route as defined by ODRTS and the PCO. 27 Placing him/herself in a favourable position for a data despatch job of which they have prior knowledge. 28 A rule broken which is specified in the official Company Rule Book for ODRTS. |
