Michael Dwemoh Speaks with Egan Birch

Card holder Valerie fleming has a chat with dac's Carol
Carpenter, the Senior Westminster Account manager.
On Thursday October 17, DaC opened its doors to a selected group of
Westminster TaxiCard holders, giving them a guided tour of Brunswick House,
followed by a buffet lunch and a question and answer session.
Board members, Mike Son, Keith Cain and Allan Evans offered a brief history
of our Society and introduced members of the DaC staff who handle this
prestigious account to the cardholders.
"It was," said one cardholder to Call Sign, "a
pleasant surprise to put faces to the names that we have spoken to on the
phone so many times." Others nodded in agreement.
Michael Dwemoh, Head of Westminster Transport Contracts, gave a short
address promoting the merits of the TaxiCard scheme and then the
guests

Toni Sargent shows cardholders how she sees their calls
and explains what happens. Allan Evans looks on...
were divided into three separate groups and shown around the
various DaC departments.
Call Sign grabbed a few words with some of those present...
Michael Dwemoh told us that in general he was delighted with our service,
while other cardholders agreed and spoke very highly of our drivers.
Valerie Fleming said that she monitored cab arrivals and most were on time
or a few minutes early, while Egan Birch, the former Chair of the Amberley
Residents Association, was one of the few to complain - even if it was very
much tongue in cheek: "The drivers are far too young and dishy,"
she told us with a sly grin!
Then time to leave and our guests were ferried home by taxi, courtesy of DaC
with not one card swiped!
