Regular readers
will no doubt have read about the group of taxi drivers - 25% on
Dial-a-Cab - who together formed the Fiscal Shares Club. The idea of the
club is that the twenty members each invest an amount of money into a
joint 'pot' which is then re-invested into the stocks and shares that
members feel can earn them a profit in either the long or short term. John Dixon (B67) makes the most of his first acting opportunity
used his own nose to look around him as he drove along to see what was succeeding by drawing in the punters and what wasn't. Then a democratic vote decided whether to buy or not. That, said Nicole, was a good strategy and would get them further than chancing their luck on passenger tips. All in all, it was a Bloomberg thumbs-up for the Fiscal Shares Club which showed London Taxi drivers in an excellent light, and the DaC logo which once again was seen around the world... |
