Call Centre Member Gets Married
(OK, OK - SO IT'S THE EDITOR'S SON!)
The month of January in 2001 was one of the wettest for
years, so it didn't bode well for Editor's son Reed Fisher and his lovely
fiancée Lara Gladstone's wedding day.
But having the Call Sign Editor for your father came in
very handy when young Alan ordered nice weather for the big day of nuptial
tying! Sure enough, from dawn to dusk on Sunday January 28th, the sun didn't
leave its place of honour as the clear blue skies smiled down on the happy
couple!
Using the services of two great-looking, ribbon-clad Asquiths,
the happy couple and their families made their way to the Oaks Lane
Synagogue in Green Badge Valley for the emotional ceremony, followed by a
party at the Prince Regent Hotel in Chigwell.
Reed has worked in the DaC Call Centre for over 12 years and
several staff members attended the festivities.
Forty-eight hours later, the new Mr and Mrs Fisher left
Heathrow by plane to begin a honeymoon that saw them boarding a luxury liner
and cruising along the Andaman Sea past such exotic places as Langkawi
Island and the Phi Phi Islands on their way via Singapore (and Raffles
Hotel) to Thailand and finally, to the exotic island of Phuket where they
spent their second week in temperatures nudging 90 degrees with a cooling
sea breeze, before getting ready to return to the Chigwell home they have
shared for a year and to the cold, cold rain!

appreciated.
