I’M BACK! I’ve been pulled away from GCSE revision (like it took much pulling!) and I am writing another butt-clenching edition of TEENWORLD.  So much has happened since I last wrote to you all, and may I just say thank you to all the fabulous darlings who emailed me to say how much they like the column.

The Brits flew by without anyone battering an eyelid. Even though it was a long time ago, I can still remember a slightly drunken Brandon Block walking on stage (how security let him get there is a different story!) and picking a brawl with another drunken celebrity. I also think it my duty to say to people in Year 11 that your exams start this month. So however much you don’t want to, start revising now! Indirectly, the rest of your life could depend on it and all at the sweet age of 16!  So now is the time for you to say your sad goodbyes to people you are going to miss. At the same time, thank God, you’re getting rid of the smug tarts in your year that you cannot stand, or those childish boys that try and look hard in front of their mates…well guys  GIVE UP - YOU’RE NOT!!

Girls, this season polka dots are in!  I personally can’t stand them, but there are some out there (you know who you are) that like those big blobs which make you look like someone has sneezed in your direction. I went late night shopping the other day and in nearly every designer shop, I saw virtually every piece of clothing in lilac. So bear that in mind peeps, put the two together and you

should be wearing lilac polka   dots!    That’s if you want to be as fashionable as your granny! Another thing that’s in are backless tops. I’ve just bought a slinky little number from Morgan for £25. ‘V’ necked at the front and, to put it bluntly, it has straps resembling spaghetti crossing my back!  You’d think that you would pay less for a garment like that because it has barely any material. There are some wicked websites on the super highway at the moment. The first to mention is called SAM Learning on www.samlearning.co.uk . This caters for keystages 1-3, GCSE level and A-Level and I would definitely recommend it. A guy called Chris Neill does another page and writes about life and other things. Mobiles!  
There are many people in this world and anyone who is or isn’t anyone has… a mobile phone! At 

the moment, the latest thing to sweep the phone-frenzy world is a  W.A.P phone. They do everything from dialling a number to surfing the World Wide Web. What a lot of people don’t know is that at Christmas 2000, a new phone is coming out of the woodwork. It is likely to be ten times faster than the current W.A.P selection.
   I am not sure about you, but I am totally and utterly confused with this hands-free lark. Firstly it was announced that people should use their hands-free to prevent so much radiation frazzling the one brain cell you have in your head! Now we’re told that using the hands-free kit is more likely to frazzle the cell than putting the phone to your ear! I am quite a bright person, but this I haven’t quite grasped hold of. Do we use the kit …or not? If anyone has any theories, please write in.
