Dial-a-Cab people who have worked so hard to make their mobiles the best
in the world. Tom Whitbread gave a great |
amount of time and effort to the
early, and often most frustrating, stage of the mobiles. His work with the
vendors can only be described as relentless and thorough. Tom's common
sense and his knowledge of the radio system and taxi operations
contributed greatly to the foundation of the new mobiles. Peter Thurston at DaC's Roman Way depot played an invaluable role in testing the new mobiles. His expertise and knowledge saved many a doomed day. He always seemed to know the right thing to do and often proved more capable of trouble-shooting and problem solving than the engineers from the various suppliers who participated in the trials of the new mobiles! Now if we can just get him to stop using his laptop as a dinner tray! Kidding aside, Peter has done an excellent job and we commend him for his contribution. And the Drivers |
