Dial-a-Cab to Distribute the TX1 Throughout the UK and the Rest of the World!
I am pleased to say after long and tough negotiations, Dial-a-Cab have taken delivery of an
initial consignment of 20 taxis, all with the Dial-a-Cab Logo.

At this time, due to a lack of space at Brunswick House, the taxis are being garaged in the Chairman's cupboard.
Dial-a-Cab diversifying its commercial activities? Not at this time, although we do have taxis with the Dial-a-Cab logo - but a little smaller than the original.
Having negotiated with Corgi Classics Ltd for some time, I am very pleased to tell you that the new range of model London Taxis for sale around the world will carry the Dial-a-Cab Logo. A larger consignment has been ordered for DaC; as soon as they are at Brunswick House I will let you know. You may consider them for a special gift.

Complaints: Rule 4b Procedure Rule 20 (not doing 40 Credit Jobs per month)
As some of you might know, complaints have been issued to drivers under this rule, which was implemented some 2 years ago. It is important to know why these have been actioned. Over the passed months, our service levels have dropped, a situation of which I am sure you are aware. The BoM is doing everything that can be done to reverse this trend. Unfortunately some drivers, for their own reasons, only do a

minimal amount of work for the Society. In fact, some are only doing 8 jobs per month, this is  absolutely ridiculous considering we take thousands of calls per week.
We are now the busiest circuit and that is why we have a long waiting list for new drivers wanting to join. I have to say that the majority of drivers are working hard to cover the work and maintain our good name. But there is a minority who are not.
It also important to know that those drivers who have been with the Society for many years and claimed a subs reduction i.e. £1 per month must also adhere to the 40 job rule. Some drivers who are unable to work full time due to illness or other unfortunate circumstances, must let Drivers Operations know. Driver's Data is monitored frequently and if we do not know your situation complaints are issued. This, I am sure, is as embarrassing for you as it is for us, especially if a member has been with the Society for many years. The collating and issuing of any complaint is time consuming and costly. Therefore if you have a problem whatever it might be, I urge you to contact the office as soon as possible.
The Society needs you to do as many credit rides as possible.

If you are finding it difficult to increase your credit job ratio due to your weekly financial needs and because you are paid on a monthly basis, providing you are working within the criteria of laid  down by the BoM, there is always the possibility of bringing your payment schedule down to say one or two weeks. It is not the intention of the administration for you to have a cash flow problem.
When a driver's terminal is inactive, that means it is not earning any money. Not receiving the service charges customers pay for every job is not helping sustain the running costs of Dial-a-Cab.
Although Dial-a-Cab has a very healthy bank balance for us to maintain this wealth, drivers really must increase the number of credit rides they do. After all, the jobs offered via the terminal are normally greater financially rewarding than street work.
Remember the minimum fare on most accounts is £8.80. The average credit ride during the day is £18 and the average credit ride during the night is £25. We cannot take on any more work if we are unable to give the best possible service to our existing customers.
